1. I care a lot about what other people think.
2. I'm hungry right now.

Innocence

The other day I was on the phone with my sister and Carson was listening in on my end of the conversation. I can't remember what I was even talking about, but all of a sudden he said, "Oh, I thought you were going to say the F word." I stopped in shock and thought about it as my sister said, "he thought you were going to say the F word???" Then I realized that he meant freak'n which isn't real great either, but I went on to tell her what word he meant. He then said, " Well, what does Aunt Amy think the F word is, Fireman!"

We both just laughed. Later I thought of what blessing it is that he doesn't get too much garbage since I home school him. I know, kind of a cheesy out look on it, but how many 9 year olds do you know that don't know the F word.

CRAZY Kids

Rebecca in the tub. She has to have princess hair every time I shampoo her hair. It's the only way to keep her from screaming. Amazing how they can just not scream when you give them a good reason not to. Carson, just being a nerdy.
Lydea too.

Zacher. He is a crazy one. His favorite thing to do is dance on the table, as I believe I have mentioned before. He really knows how to use his body though. For over a month now he has been able to jump getting both feet off the floor, or table where ever he may be, and his new trick is spinning. It's a crack up. He loves to be the center of attention and it is nearly impossible to not have him the center of attetion. Yesterday we had some friends from chrch over and we could hardly talk because he is SO loud and crazy. He's fun to watch though.

In the video he is not spinning quite as fast as he usually does because he was interested in what I was doing with the camera. Sorry the lighting is terrible.

Food Art

It started at lunch on Monday. The kids made pictures with their frozen peas. They had a really good time. Then we were looking for an activity to do for Family Home Evening and we have a TON of smarties left over from Halloween. Lets just say Karl bought a little more than we needed and it's not a treat you really want all that often. So we unwrapped all the smarties and did some Smartie art with them. It was really fun. I had a hard time getting my camera to pick up the Smartie colors, but you can still see the pictures.

Carson used 206 peas for his guy. He counted them as he ate them.
I told them they could used as many peas as they wanted they just had to eat everything they used. Not so the case with the Smarties.

Ouch

Zacher is everywhere all the time. He climbs and runs and jumps. He can even get both feet off the ground when he jumps. He loves to throws things and what can I say, he's a crazy one. Well, the other day he was dancing on the which is a common thing for him and he went to get off and when he backed off the table there was no chair there. I'm not quite sure what he hit his eye on, but it looked like it hurt. Silly kid. He really needs to stay off things, but he was right back up there about an hour later.

For Carson and Haylee's writing today they each wrote about 25 random things about themselves, and since I have mine on the blog they have to put theirs on the bolg. Haylee didn't want to stop at 25 so she actually has 30. She typed her's all up earlier, but it didn't save, so I typed it this time, but I tried to do it exactly like she had it.

1. I love dove dark chocolate.
2. I had 6 kids in 8 yrs -- Carson (9), Haylee (8), Lydea (7), Eldon McKay (5), Rebecca (4), Zachary (15 months)
3. I home school my kids...if I can do it anybody can.
4.I love Hawaii, want to move back or at least take a good long vacation there again.
5. Love my husband to pieces and can't ever get enough of him.
6. I have lived in Utah, Monterey California, Texas, Hawaii, Delaware, Maryland, Lompoc CA, North Dakota, Kentucky.
7. I have amazing kids. Sometimes it has to be pointed out to me by others, but I had a lady from church telling me how great they are today.
8. I hate my house right now-miss my house in Minot, but hopefully after dental school things will brighten up a little. Only 3 years and 3 months!
9. I like to study with my husband. It makes me feel smart when I can actually pronounce the words. I know you are all thinking...and she teaches her kids.
10. I hate to read, but I am learning to like it a little bit more as I read with my kids.
11. Haylee and I are reading The Secret Garden right now.
12. I love to shop at the health food store. It's the atmosphere. The food is good too.

19. I hate to potty train. I think it is the worst thing about being a mommy.

22. I love to take pictures and I post way too many on my blog, but I would much rather do pictures than write. Simply because I always have typo's and my kids are always correcting me and it drives me crazy.

24. I really miss my friends that all live so far from me. The biggest downfall of moving around.
