Thursday night my mower shot a golf ball sized rock into my right knee. That's what everyone wants 2 days before their race. So I loaded up on NSAIDs and did just fine until Sunday afternoon. My right knee got so inflamed that the cavity behind it was even filling up with fluid. Am OK now with more NSAIDs on board. It doesn't look like I'll be soccering on Tuesday. Bummer. But that's all I have to complain about. Everything else was great. When's the next one?
We are always up to something new! New baby, new job, back to school, lost teeth, moving, growing ... always something. We love to go camping, fishing, roast marshmellows in the backyard, ride bikes, take walks, play barbies, cars, and polly pockets, read, bake, and try new things. We want to share it all with you so, come have fun!

Karl is at a meeting and I have nothing to do. I figured it's been a while, so I'd do a blog even though I really don't have much to blog about. I guess I'll just fill you in on what we have all been up to as of late.
Karl is recovering from his biking accident. He still comes home almost every day and says, "I don't know what I did different today,
He can do almost all his dental work now though and has spent many hours catching up in lab. He doesn't like to be behind.
It was interesting to have him hurt. we are usually very active and for entertainment we go to the park and play soccer or something of the sort. But we have been doing a lot of sitting and talking and he played the piano a lot and even wrote a song.
Me, well, I cut about 13 inches off my hair. That is probably the biggest change in my life. Other than that I am doing the usual. Teaching the kids and try to stay on top of everything else I'm supposed to be doing.
OK - so here's what Meg's really been doing. EVERYTHING. She's doing the shopping, painting the house, caring for me, leading the choir, working in the nursery, running Haylee to ballet, taking Carson to appointments, teaching Lydea to sew, and potty training Zac. She put together another photo book for our family that is too much fun. She got us a babysitter so we can go to Inception this Saturday. She's put up with super long hours while I've been catching up. Meanwhile she's been suffering from allergies and feeling overtired from getting up to help me get ready for my day. She's a superstar. Don't let her tell you different.
The choir is going away soon -- instead she'll be teaching the 12 and 13 year old Sunday school class....
Visitors/my help after Violet was born
My mom and little sister Amber came and helped me after Violet was born. It was so good to have them. Hard to see them go!
Up and at ‘me again...after 6+years
We enjoyed our time in Texas and were very happy to have residency over. Now we are in Illinois. Karl is working Great Lakes Naval base as an oral surgeon. Carson left on his mission 13 months ago to Fortaleza, Brazil and Haylee is in her first semester so college at BYUI
Rebecca is 13 now and always looking for something to do so I told her she could start this blog up again. It’s so fun to go back and look at what is on here from years before I would love to continue it.
