Zachary's first birthday!

So we had a lot of fun with Zach's birthday! We had a little Halloween birthday party. He didn't care much, no 1 year olds do. So we invited the older kids in the neighborhood over and did some games and fun foods. We had witches finger (cheese sticks) goblin eyes (no pictured, vanilla pudding, frozen with a gummie life saver and a jelly bean), veggie skelital cat, monster toes (little smokies with strips of tortillas wrapped around them. We also made home-made doughnuts and the spider cakes.

A couple fun things about Zach right now...He is VERY busy. This week he learned to climb on chairs and things. That is not helpful for me in the slightest. His favorite place to play is the kitchen drawers. He throws everything down the stairs. He is very interactive and likes to be around people. He is gernerally happy, but snaps really fast when he wants something. He still loves to nurse and I really can't get him to eat much of anything, which drives me batty some days because if I won't nurse him as soo as he decides he wants to he bites my clothes, or me and screams at me. He loves babies (real or baby dolls) and walk around saying ba ba for baby. He has a couple other words mama, dad, ha (hat), ba (ball). He is fun to have around. He keeps us going faster than we want some days, but that's all right. We love him.

You look like a million bucks!

The other day I was giving the boys hair cuts and Karl came in and told Eldon he looked like a millon bucks. Eldon McKay then told Karl that he looked like, "a thousand bucks, no a hundred bucks." He then turned around to me and said, "Mom, you look like seven bucks, and Dad you are 10" We loved it. Gave us a good laugh hopefully it will give you a good laugh too.

Ok so Im having issues with this post. I can't manage to get the pictures where I want them and I'm so tired of it that I'm giving up. I don't even know if the text makes sense anymore, so good luck. I actually wanted this post in with the fall fun, but that one started being a mess so I posted it and started this one to finish it up. whatever!

Karl went on a sealent trip last weekend. They went to an elemetary school and taught the kids how to brush their teeth and then put sealents on any that needed it, and Karl did a few that didn't need it, but don't tell anyone! He had a good time. He also got to drill his first tooth this week. He loves it. We are really doing great here. The kids and I have a great schedule for now and we get to see Karl every day, and that is SO great.

I feel bad because I really don't have any pictures of Haylee right now. I'll have to snap a few soon. She is busy with her school work. She likes to take her time, so she is usually the last done, but still done at a descent time, so it's just fine. She is learning and growing so much. She is a quite pleasant child as ling as she gets her sleep, but if Lydea wakes her up early watch out! She is too much like her mom.

Fall Fun

So, we have been having a lot of fun with the beggining of fall and Halloween drawing nearer,

The pictures of Carson and Lydea are in the back yard picking up black walnuts. We have so many. I really should harvest them, but the are really messy and time consuming, so it's not happening this year. We filled our big yard waste garbage can atleast 3/4 of the way full, and this was the second week we've picked them up. The first week it wasn't nearly as full with the walnuts, but I'm ready to havethem gone. Carson and his buddy already put one threw the window-BAD! The kids were good helpers to get them cleaned up. Especially Carson and Lydea.

This was just a thing that had pretzels in it and Lydea put it on Zach's head and he loved it. He was so funny!

Here are a couple pictures of Zach in his halloween shirt. I think it is cute. If you can't read it it says monster in training. I was having a hard time getting him to look at me, so I started swor fighting with him. He thought that was great!

He's everywhere. This morning I f ound him on this rocking chair looking out the window. Crazy kid.

Rebecca is always up to something. She loves Pollys, babies, and barbies. I think more than anything she likes though she likes to get dressed. AtleastI have gotento where she only wears one outfit a day, or most days anyway. I think that the pictures say it all with her.

Eldon McKay...he and Zachary are little buddies. He can get Zach to laugh so easily. He's a fun kids lately. Though, still quite stubbon. He and rebecca are best freind/enemies all day every day.
